Website Design Derby is part of the Creative Filter group. A small business of graphic designers and web developers that decided to focus creating a wide range of web solutions that the client, themselves could control and change.

Over the years we’ve heard various horror stories involving web developers, from getting charged extortionate amounts of money to upload a couple of photos to hidden costs and expenditure just before the developers arranged holiday, we’ve heard them all and wanted to stop it.

So before we knew it, we’d come up with a plan. To create the majority of our websites on the WordPress platform, this then gives the client control over editing their own content. If they don’t want to do their own updating, it’s not an issue we can still help.

We do want to try to stop the bad press Web Developers are getting, so we work with our clients to find out exactly what they can and can’t do, as well as do and don’t want to do when it comes to updating the site.

Our team has years of experience building hand coded websites to fully fledged CMS and E-Commerce systems, usually if it can’t be done, we work on the issue until it can be done, that’s our mentality. We’ve worked on some small projects and we have worked on some huge projects, all of which may have been huge learning curves for us, but we don’t say no.

We are also passionate about what we do, we are a team that likes to get up in the morning and come to work, we love creating and we love to make our clients happy.
